Communities of Practice Offer Space for School Leaders to Share Ideas this Fall
As a school leader, you are likely feeling a heavy weight on your shoulders as school gets under way this fall. We want to help. NEE will offer two virtual “Communities of Practice” this fall to provide space for school leaders to share ideas and get support from one another.
- Remote Learning Leadership Community of Practice: As you find yourself navigating a virtual or hybrid learning setting, NEE will facilitate this community of practice as an informal space to ask questions and share ideas with other school leaders. This recurring Zoom session will be available from 1:30-2:30 p.m. every other Tuesday starting September 1 through November 10. Ask questions, share practices that work for you, and discuss any topic you want to learn more about. We’ll provide support to each other. REGISTER
- NEEwbies: Year 1 Principals Cadre: This monthly community of practice for NEE Year 1 principals will provide an informal space to talk through your first year with NEE. Our first session will be from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, and talking points will be: getting started with your first observations, getting faculty comfortable with the rubrics, and NEE Indicator 7.4 (formative assessment). REGISTER
We will share details about each monthly session here as those details are available.
