Dr. Marc Doss has 30 years of classroom and education administration experience at the building and district levels. Following his K-12 career, Dr. Doss was hired by the University of Missouri to serve as the director of the Regional Professional Development Center, which provides educator training services to 56 mid-Missouri school districts. Dr. Christi Bergin is the co-founder of the Network for Educator Effectiveness and Associate Dean for Research & Innovation at the University of Missouri College of Education. She conducts research on teaching effectiveness, particularly as it relates to social-emotional learning in students.
Erica is project manager for NEE’s IT team and provides customer support. No one knows the NEE Data Tool quite like Erica. She has an extensive background in materials and curriculum development. Kendra joined NEE in 2018 as marketing director to help NEE reach new clients and serve existing clients even better. Kendra is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism and Crosby MBA Program at the University of Missouri. She previously worked in the news industry as a marketing specialist for a television station and
Cheri joined the NEE team as a trainer in 2013 after an extensive career in K-12 schools. She began her teaching career as a special education teacher and preschool teacher before becoming an elementary principal. During that time, she was named the Missouri Association of Elementary Principal’s National Distinguished Principal. Cheri then became director of
Terri is a retired Missouri school principal and teacher. Dr. Steffes earned her National Board Certification in teaching in 1995, the first in Missouri to do so. She is a graduate of Columbia College, Lincoln University, and Saint Louis University, where she received her doctorate in 2012. She joined the NEE team in 2015.
Cathie creates professional development materials for the EdHub Library and provides user support for customers of both EdHub and NEE. She has extensive experience as an elementary teacher, school librarian and instructional coach with Missouri public schools. Cathie provided professional development training for K-12 teachers throughout Missouri and other states before joining NEE.
Javier is an instructional designer for NEE. He develops online professional development for the EdHub platform that serves the professional development needs of teachers. He is a seasoned instructional designer and e-learning developer in public and private organizations. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Science and Learning Technologies at the University of Missouri.
Bridget is a senior researcher with NEE. Her research background is in rural sociology, with a specific interest in the sociology of food and agriculture, race and inequality, and rural poverty. She is experienced in research design, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, survey development, and report writing.
