Dr. Aaron Jones
Training & Field Support
As a passionate advocate for lifelong learning, I dedicated 30+ years of my life to the field of education. My journey in education started as a middle school teacher in Lexington, Missouri, and the Independence School District, where I had the privilege of nurturing young minds and instilling a love for science. Over the years, my dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment led me to take on roles as principal in the Union R-XI school district and then assistant superintendent in Union and Warren County R-III.
My commitment to education extended beyond the school walls. I firmly believe education is a powerful tool for personal and societal growth. In retirement, I continue to support educational causes and volunteer my time to visit schools with my therapy dog, Leif, and coach junior high basketball.
My daughter, Aarica, graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design and has been hired by CNN as part of their Motion Design department. In my free time, I enjoy training Leif, playing golf, and following the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues.
I am grateful for the wonderful journey I had in education and remain dedicated to promoting the value of learning in all stages of life.
