2026 NEE Supplementary Training: Principal Evaluation (Online, On-Demand)

For superintendents or any other district-level administrators who supervise building-level administrators, this training module will review NEE’s principal evaluation process. You’ll work through implementation timelines, the measures available for principal evaluation, and how to customize the process to fit the needs of you and the administrators in your district.

This is an online, on-demand training that you will complete on your own and at your own pace at any time. There is no deadline. It will take approximately 4 hours to complete. The training can be stopped and restarted. As long as you stay on the same device and do not clear your Internet cache, the training should resume at the last place you left off.

Important note: This is NOT a NEE Recertification training. This training is provided as a supplementary training for school leaders whose primary responsibilities do not include evaluating teachers through classroom observations. If you evaluate teachers through classroom observations, you are welcome to complete this training but please also make sure you are registered for and complete a NEE Recertification training (choose an in-person training or on-demand training) or NEE New Evaluator training.
