The Network for Educator Effectiveness welcomes Benjy Fenske to the team as a trainer and field support representative in Southwest Missouri!

Benjy is the former superintendent at Clever R-V, where he retired in 2022 after 34 years in education. He started his career as a business teacher, FBLA sponsor, and coach for Pierce City R-VI Schools before joining Clever R-V, where he served as a building and district level administrator for 23 years.

In these school leadership roles, Benjy learned the ins and outs of using NEE processes for educator evaluation, as Clever has been a NEE member school district since 2014. Benjy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role at NEE, where he will be providing support to member schools, conducting NEE trainings for evaluators, and assisting with new and ongoing NEE projects.

Benjy is a lifelong resident of Southwest Missouri, having graduated from Pierce City before earning degrees from Missouri Southern State College (now MSSU) and Missouri State University. He is married to his wife, Cindy, and they have two children. His son earned an associate degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Crowder College in Neosho and is currently employed in Columbia. His daughter is currently enrolled at Saint Louis University and is majoring in Biology.

Benjy enjoys spending time with his family, writing, and an occasional round of golf.  He also enjoys broadcasting high school football during the fall for a local radio station.

Please join us in welcoming Benjy to the NEE team!
